AAC Regts and Personnel Attend Remembrance Events 

Wreaths layed at the Middle Wallop Cenotaph by stationed units

Army Air Corps personnel attended in numbers across the UK and overseas to as part of Military wide Remembrance parades on Sunday 12th November 2023.

1 Regt AAC, based at RNAS Yeovilton attended parades in Wincanton, Martock, Ilchester and London.

6 Regt Army Air Corps, our reservist Regt with Squadrons based across the south of England attended a parades from Portsmouth to Norwich. 

The AAC Women Netball team toured Fiji, on remembrance weekend the team represented the AAC and UK by parading alongside local forces and laying wreaths. 

The Army Aviation Centre, 2 (Trg) Regt and 7 (Trg) Regt AAC, alongside 1st Avn BCT held a service in the hangar at Middle Wallop before laying wreaths at the Cenotaph and marking 2 minutes silence with the ringing of the bell. 

Stationed units also attended parades in nearby towns and villages including Stockbridge, Andover and The Wallops.

FS Wattisham, Suffolk based units, 3 Regt and 4 Regt AAC attended remembrance parades in Ipswich and Bury St. Edmunds, including an Apache flypast as special focus was placed on marking the 80th Anniversary of Battle of the Atlantic.
